eLearning Instructional Designer - Create Learning That Drives Measurable Business Impact Make Learning That Truly Matters

At Harding+, learning is not just content. It is how we enable performance, capability, and growth across a global business. We are looking for an eLearning Instructional Designer who wants to create digital learning that makes a measurable difference.

This is an opportunity to join a growing, forward‑thinking organisation where learning is valued as a strategic enabler, not just a support function. Together, we are working to realise our purpose: to make every cruise better.

Why This Role Stands Out

Joining Harding+ means stepping into a dynamic growth phase where your ideas will be heard, your work will be visible, and your impact will be tangible. You will play a key role across the full instructional design lifecycle, from analysis and design through development, delivery, and evaluation, helping shape how learning is experienced across our business.

You will combine creativity, technology, and insight to design learning solutions that are engaging, accessible, and commercially effective, whether through interactive modules, virtual classrooms, or blended learning journeys.

This role offers a high level of autonomy and is ideal for someone who enjoys managing their own workload, working independently, and taking ownership of projects from end to end. While you will collaborate with stakeholders when needed, much of your time will be spent designing and developing solutions independently.

This role directly supports business performance by equipping teams with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed.

What You Will Be Doing

Reporting to the L&D Manager, you will design and develop engaging digital learning solutions using tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Vyond, and InVideo. You will create blended learning experiences combining eLearning, microlearning, and live virtual sessions, and facilitate interactive online learning through platforms such as Microsoft Teams.

You will measure learning effectiveness using data, feedback, and analytics, continuously refining content so it remains relevant and impactful. You will also manage course uploads, tracking, and troubleshooting within the Learning Management System, helping deliver a seamless learner experience.

Working closely with HR, business leaders, and subject matter experts, you will identify learning needs, translate them into effective solutions, and champion a culture of continuous development across the organisation.

What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months
  • High quality learning solutions delivered and adopted by teams.
  • Trusted relationships built with key stakeholders.
  • Clear evidence that learning is supporting performance outcomes.
About You

You are a self‑starter who thrives in environments where you are trusted to deliver and given ownership to innovate. You enjoy turning complex information into engaging, easy‑to‑understand learning experiences and are motivated by seeing learners succeed. You bring a balance of creativity and analytical thinking, along with a strong understanding of how learning drives business performance.

You Will Likely Bring
  • Experience designing outcome‑driven eLearning aligned to business goals.
  • Strong LMS capability from both admin and learner perspectives.
Technical Tools
  • Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate and Vyond.
  • Confidence working with multimedia or video creation tools.
Ways of Working
  • Analytical and data driven mindset.
  • Curiosity for emerging learning technologies such as AI, gamification, or microlearning.
What You Will Gain

You will be joining a collaborative organisation where learning is valued, innovation is encouraged, and your work makes a visible difference.

We offer a competitive reward package including:

  • Pension.
  • Life assurance (four times salary).
  • 26 days annual leave, with the option to purchase additional days.
