About The Role

The Guidewire Technical Lead plays a pivotal role in driving the successful implementation, configuration, and optimisation of Guidewire solutions within an organisation. The Technical Lead brings deep expertise in Guidewire modules (such as Policy Center, Claim Center, or Billing Center), facilitates requirements gathering, and leads technical design and delivery. The role ensures the solution capabilities in our Guidewire programmes align to strategy and customer outcomes, anticipates future releases to deliver value and meet business needs, and involves technical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver scalable, high‑quality insurance applications.

What

Will Your Day Look Like
  • Stakeholder engagement: collaborate with users, PMs, and technical teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Solution design: lead the technical design across work streams, ensuring configurations and customisations meet objectives and industry best practices.
  • Requirements gathering: support BA teams, facilitate workshops, and document business and technical requirements when customisation is required.
  • Configuration oversight: oversee configuration of Guidewire modules with technical teams to apply requirements accurately.
  • Issue resolution: act as the primary escalation point for technical issues, troubleshoot and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Documentation: prepare and maintain specifications, process flows, and user guides.
This Job Is For You If
  • Extensive experience in Guidewire implementations (Policy Center, Claim Center, and/or Billing Center).
  • Strong understanding of insurance industry processes, terminology, and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience in Agile and Waterfall.
  • Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and leadership of technical analysts.
  • Background in business process reengineering or change management, with adaptability in fast‑paced projects and proactive challenge resolution.
