Role OverviewLloyds Banking Group’s Threat Lab is transforming the delivery of cyber threat intelligence. The Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team seeks an experienced senior analyst to develop and improve the Group’s CTI capability. The role includes line‑management responsibilities and a lead role in transforming threat data gathering, enrichment, analysis, and application across the Group. The successful candidate will boost CTI tooling efficiency, deepen structured analytic techniques, and provide technical and people leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Line‑manage and develop the CTI team.
- Transform how threat data is gathered, enriched, analysed, and applied across the Group.
- Improve the efficiency of CTI tooling and integrate new technologies.
- Deepen the use of structured analytic techniques.
- Deliver clear technical and people leadership to your team.
- Contribute to strengthening defensive outcomes and trust in intelligence outputs.
- Ensure threat intelligence is reliable, timely, and decision‑oriented.
- 5+ years in cyber threat intelligence, including threat actor analysis, campaign tracking, and intelligence reporting, with a strong technical focus on data and tools.
- Strong understanding of CTI tooling and platforms, with experience upgrading tools, boosting integration, and increasing operational value.
- A formal intelligence qualification or equivalent professional training (e.g., military, government, law enforcement, or recognized commercial intelligence programmes).
- Demonstrated people‑management experience, including line management, performance development, and capability building.
- Ability to translate complex cyber threat data into clear, practical insights for technical and non‑technical audiences.
