Job Summary
Senior Strategy Lead – Agentic AI
Location:
Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester or London
Salary Range: £116,535 – £137,100 (plus bonus, share schemes, pension contribution and additional benefits)
Working Pattern:
Hybrid – at least two days per week (40%) at one of the above locations.
- Lead an Agentic AI domain (Customer or Operations) and align it with the Group’s business priorities.
- Identify, frame and prioritise AI opportunities and use cases, ensuring commercial and operational viability.
- Assess priorities through the full AI lifecycle – from inception, capability definition, build, deployment, adoption and value realisation.
- Build and maintain a realistic, scalable roadmap, coordinating work across business units, platforms and enabling teams.
- Translate business objectives into agentic and technical requirements, understanding data, integration and system dependencies.
- Engage senior stakeholders to secure alignment, resolve competing priorities and agree clear OKRs.
- Define domain‑level value outcomes, track realisation and keep initiatives outcome‑led.
- Drive operating‑model change and business adoption, shaping how agents, teams, controls and processes work together.
- Promote cross‑functional collaboration and reuse across domains and the AI ecosystem.
- Lead and develop a small team of strategy managers within the AI CoE, creating focus and synergy across domains.
- Strong understanding of AI and Agentic AI – how these scale across platforms, operating models and enterprise adoption.
- Experience with the core building blocks of Agentic AI – data, integration, infrastructure and orchestration.
- Proven ability to translate business priorities into clear AI strategies, value cases and actionable roadmaps.
- Technical depth to engage confidently with platform, engineering and senior business leaders.
- Strategic judgement and commercial awareness, grounded in real‑world experience of what works.
- Experience leading or shaping large‑scale AI or Agentic AI initiatives from strategy through delivery and value realisation.
- Experience working in financial services, technology, consulting or a complex regulated environment.
- Hands‑on involvement in AI programme delivery – design through deployment and adoption.
- Experience shaping AI portfolios, value narratives, or benefits frameworks at scale.
- Familiarity with modern data and AI platforms and how platform roadmaps are prioritised, funded and governed in large organisations.
- Experience leading cross‑functional programmes spanning business and technology teams.
