Position: Senior QA Test Engineer £70,000

Overview

QA Test Automation Engineer at client in central Bristol (2 days a week in office). The company builds AI tools to support people in need of additional support.

Responsibilities

You will be the sole QA engineer, driving automation with Playwright, WebDriver

IO, Appium, Browser Stack, Type Script, Mocha, and Cucumber. You will own QA strategy end to end, balance manual and automated testing, introduce structure and process, and collaborate closely with developers and product. The role builds on an existing QA foundation and includes helping the company mature QA practices to align with medical-device standards as it evolves.

Qualifications

Experienced automation tester with strong web automation skills, ideally using Playwright. Mobile experience is a nice to have. Comfortable working independently, confident in taking full ownership of end-to-end QA, and curious about AI and large language models.

Compensation

Up to £70,000 depending on experience.
