Azure DevOps Engineer

Azure Dev Ops Engineer We are looking for an experienced Azure Dev Ops Engineer to join our growing technology team. You'll be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimising Azure-hosted environments, ensuring they remain secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective. Working closely with Development, QA, Support, and Project teams, you'll play a key role in platform improvements, deployments, automation, and supporting cloud infrastructure across a modern microservices-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Build, maintain, and improve Azure cloud platforms and environments
* Support deployment pipelines and continuous delivery processes
* Collaborate with development teams on infrastructure and environment decisions
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform and application issues
* Implement monitoring, logging, and performance optimisation solutions
* Participate in paid out-of-hours deployment activities and support rota
* Contribute to infrastructure automation and platform scalability initiatives Skills & Experience
* 2 years' experience in a Dev Ops or Cloud Engineering role
* Strong experience with:
* Azure Dev Ops and Azure Pipelines
* Docker (Linux & Windows)
* Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
* CI/CD and Continuous Deployment practices
* Azure SQL Databases and Managed Instances
* Azure Service Bus or similar messaging platforms
* Power Shell scripting
* Microsoft SQL Server
* Application monitoring and logging tools
* Experience supporting microservices-based architectures
* Knowledge of IIS, SSO, Cosmos DB, NGINX, and Azure Application Insights
* Platform performance tuning and optimisation experience Desirable
* Bicep and ARM Templates
* Cloudflare
* Octopus Deploy
* C#/.NET knowledge
* Prometheus and Grafana
* Seq, Loki, or similar logging platforms
