IT & Dental Systems Support Technician

Salary: £30,000
Location: Bristol
Work Pattern: On‑site

Are you an IT support professional with experience using dental or specialist software and looking to take the next step in your career? I’m currently supporting an organisation that’s expanding its technical support function and is looking to bring in an IT & Dental Systems Support Technician to support users across a range of systems and technologies. If you enjoy troubleshooting, working closely with customers, and want a hands‑on role with real responsibility, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive, fast‑moving environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal users via phone, remote access, and on‑site assistance.
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues, escalating where necessary.
  • Set up, configure, and test hardware and IT equipment prior to deployment.
  • Deliver general IT and digital systems support to internal teams.
  • Manage support cases from initial enquiry through to resolution and follow‑up.
  • Promote appropriate service and support agreements to customers.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of supported systems and technologies.
  • Build positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Use remote support tools to securely access systems and apply fixes.
  • Support software installations, updates, and system configuration.
  • Log and manage all support requests accurately within the ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex issues and provide updates to the Technical Support Manager.
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
What they are looking for:
  • Experience supporting dental software & hardware
  • Experience with CADCAM software and equipment, preferably including exocad, 3shape and Millbox, strong IT and network skills
  • Strong general IT knowledge, including hardware, software, and basic networking.
  • Experience working with ticketing or case‑management systems.
