Job Summary

Provide our clients with both hands‑on and theoretical support, ensuring they get the most value possible from their technology stack. In addition you will be our tech partner’s greatest ally, understanding new features and having depth of knowledge across a broad spectrum of platforms.

Job Requirements
  • Excellent understanding of Email, SMS, Push, App, with detailed knowledge about customer behaviour and sufficient understanding of User Experience to ensure solutions are workable
  • Demonstrable excellent understanding of the capabilities and requirements of CRM tools and marketing platforms (Braze preferred but not essential)
  • In‑depth understanding of affinity, loyalty, and handling customer data
  • Excellent knowledge of the marketing technology landscape
  • Expertise in the use of Mar Tech software required for client projects
  • Ability to use HTML editors and data‑flow software, e.g. Visio
  • Demonstrable understanding of how to fix bugs efficiently across campaign workflows
  • Understanding of budget and commercial elements attached to campaign plans
  • Ability to think laterally and identify opportunities to deliver more effective campaigns
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners, providing campaign management expertise and guidance to junior team members
Job Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Client Services, Strategy, Creative, HTML, Data and Analyst teams throughout the campaign planning process, providing expert recommendations and accurate inputs that contribute to the efficiency and success of the campaign project, and the profitability of Armadillo.
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of both business and project strategy to provide comprehensive solutions for client CRM and technology teams.
  • Accurately scope complex campaign solutions, including the data required to drive personalisation – lead scoping meetings and calls when required, and provide clear documentation and presentations for internal and client stakeholders to explain and gain approval for the solutions.
  • Understand KPIs and measurement requirements for campaigns, ensuring measurement and data requirements are supported within the campaign set‑up and build scope.
  • Identify opportunities for bespoke solutions to deliver more effective campaigns, scope these solutions clearly, collaborate with Tech, Development and other colleagues, and propose solutions to the Principal Campaign Manager and CS leads as appropriate.
  • Own relationships with the solutions and partnerships teams at the technology partners we work with (Braze, Iterable, Bloomreach, Jacquard, Talon.One), including occasional work from their offices.
  • Consider budget and commercials attached to campaign projects – proactively identify and recommend opportunities to CS & PM colleagues to improve efficiency and profitability from a budgetary perspective.
  • Understand the client’s relational database structures, customer data and attributes used for your campaigns.
  • Translate complex customer journeys and flow diagrams into campaigns within the CRM tool (Braze) with minimal input required from senior colleagues.
  • Demonstrate excellent understanding of the capabilities and requirements of the CRM tool(s) and marketing platform(s) of clients and partners.
  • Create and execute detailed testing plans that allow for full testing of dynamic content (regardless of how that content is driven), across all channels and relevant platforms.
  • Integrate complex personalised content and offers, using third‑party systems and data where required, successfully into your campaign designs.
  • Upload and send tests of Emails, SMS, Push with dynamic variants where required, for your campaign projects without bugs or errors.
  • Set up all aspects of campaign deployment for broadcast (data segmentation, campaign flows, broadcast) without bugs or errors.
  • Perform quality assurance on your own campaign projects and peer‑review projects with other members of the Campaign team as required to the highest standard.
