The opportunity:

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for full‑time Scrum Masters to join a different and challenging workplace, to help us shape our transformation and coach teams in Agile ways of working. As the Scrum Master for one or more teams you will play a pivotal role in coaching, facilitating, mentoring and training the team(s) on their journey to more Agile ways of working.

Your work will focus on delivering value at the team level, while collaborating with the wider programme and Agile practice. You will be expected to assist the team(s) in embedding good delivery practices, optimise value, proactively resolve issues and impediments, and coach the team in a complex programme landscape.

As our working context is different to the norm, you will need to maintain a pragmatic and flexible approach, helping adapt a wide range of Agile principles and practices to maximise benefits to the teams and programme. This role would suit an outgoing, proactive and resilient individual who relishes a challenge and is interested in exploring and applying Agile in a unique context.

The expectation is that you will work on site 3–4 days per week.

What we're looking for from you:
  • A proactive, passionate and resilient Scrum Master to guide and grow one or more teams who are new to Agile or need help developing Agile ways of working
  • A role model for Agile behaviours with the ability to coach, facilitate, mentor and train others on Agile mind‑set, behaviours, frameworks and practices
  • Experience of leading meetings and workshops, driving actions from them and ensuring they provide value
  • An interest in applying Agile ways of working to a combined hardware and software landscape
  • A keen desire to learn, grow and adapt to a unique working environment that makes a real difference to UK defence and sovereignty

We welcome applications from all backgrounds and encourage you to speak to us should you require any advice, support or adjustments throughout this recruitment process.
