The role would be of great interest to an experienced Product Manager with inhouse experience, perhaps from a start-up, proficient in Azure Dev Ops and scaled Agile Frameworks. Shape AI and digital transformation at King's College London. Lead LLM and agentic AI products as well as a transformation portfolio of digital products that improve the student and staff experience.

The Product Manager AI & Transformation sits within Digital Innovation for Student Success (DISS), a multidisciplinary innovation team at Kings College London. The role provides product management across two connected areas of work: an AI portfolio, focused on AI-enabled products (LLMs and agentic workflows), prototypes and services developed by DISS; and a transformation portfolio, focused on digital products and service platforms such as CRM and case management, mobile experiences, portals, live chat, data-driven workflows and other integrated service technologies.

The postholder will translate user needs, institutional priorities, and emerging opportunities into clear product roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery plans. They will work across the traditional boundaries of a large university, engaging with multiple stakeholder groups including faculties, professional services, IT, governance groups, students, staL, academic communities, vendors, consultants and technology partners to shape products that are coherent, usable and aligned to institutional priorities.

The role works closely with DISS colleagues across AI research and development, Responsible AI Innovation, UX design and data insights, while also coordinating with other development teams, platform owners, and delivery partners across the wider university. Using Azure Dev Ops and SAFe-aligned practices, the postholder will take ownership of the development, testing, release, and continuous improvement of products, helping DISS move ideas from discovery and experimentation into well-governed services that improve student and staL experiences and support practical digital transformation across Kings.

Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Portfolio Management:
Lead product strategy and portfolio management across DISS's AI and digital transformation portfolios at King's College London, shaping prioritisation and investment so resources are directed where they deliver the greatest impact for students and staL. Own product roadmaps, backlogs, user stories and acceptance criteria for AI and digital products. Maintain clear visibility of priorities, dependencies, risks and expected outcomes, and translate complex service challenges into deliverable product plans. Agile Delivery & Product Operations:. Run agile product delivery using Azure Dev Ops and SAFe-aligned practices, including backlog refinement, iteration and release planning, testing coordination, dependency management and delivery tracking.

Keep progress, decisions and blockers transparent to stakeholders across the university. AI Product Development:
Manage the end to end development of AI-enabled products, prototypes and services, including large language model (LLM) applications and agentic workflows. Work closely with AI R&D, Responsible AI Innovation, UX and data colleagues to take ideas from discovery and experimentation into responsible, evidence-led live use. Transformation Products & Platforms:
Drive the development and continuous improvement of digital transformation platforms including Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Nexus), CRM and case management, mobile applications, student and staL portals, live chat and data-driven service workflows. Partner with platform owners and delivery teams to keep products integrated, scalable and operationally sustainable. Stakeholder & Partner Engagement:
Build and maintain trusted relationships with faculties, professional services, King's IT, governance groups, students, staL, academic communities, vendors and technology partners. Translate between service needs, user…
