Database Administrator

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Hybrid role: 6 days per month required on-site. Our client has offices across the UK, so there will be an office close to you regardless of where you live!

Working on production databases, you will need to build Kubernetes, explain Helm charts, be well-versed in MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and be relatively capable of coding for automation with Python, Bash or Shell (expertise not required). AWS or Azure experience is essential.

A background in Wealth Management and Investments is desirable.

• DBA experience – not Dev Ops – working on production databases
• Previous experience building Kubernetes, not just supporting
• Ability to explain Helm charts
• MongoDB
• PostgreSQL (not Oracle)
• Python, Bash or Shell coding for automation (need to be clued up, but not an expert)
• Cloud (public and private) – AWS or Azure preferred
