This role will initially be based in Bradford but were moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in summer 2026, so youll be based there in the future - Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office a week Bradford/Leeds) Work type:

The Project Management team are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators. The IT SAP Project Manager leads the successful delivery of complex projects, with accountability for governance, budgets, risks, quality, resources, stakeholders, and benefits realisation. The role requires strong strategic thinking, effective decision-making, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders to ensure projects deliver sustainable value and positive outcomes for Yorkshire Water, its customers, and colleagues.

The IT SAP Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex SAP programmes and projects across Yorkshire Water's SAP landscape, including SAP HR, Success Factors, SAP Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and future SAP transformation initiatives. The role is accountable for project governance, budgets, risks, quality, resource management, vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and benefits realisation. Working closely with business leaders, SAP functional teams, delivery partners and technology teams, the successful candidate will drive strategic SAP change that delivers measurable benefits for Yorkshire Water, its customers and colleagues.

The role requires exceptional leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and within budget. Where you fit in:

Lead end-to-end SAP project and programme delivery across SAP HR, Success Factors, S/4

HANA, Finance, Procurement and Corporate Services platforms. Manage delivery through all project lifecycle phases including business case, design, build, testing, deployment, cutover, hypercare and benefits realisation.
