DDI Engineer (Infoblox / Blue Cat / VitalQIP) | £500-£560p/day (Inside IR35) | Fully remote | 6 month contract (due to extend) Our client is looking for an experienced DDI Engineer to join a large scale programme. The role is focused on engineering, administration and optimisation of enterprise DDI platforms. We're looking for a dedicated DDI specialist w i th extensive hands-on engineering experience across enterprise DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management (IPAM) platforms.
This role will suit someone who has built, engineered, migrated and supported enterprise DDI environments, not someone whose DNS/DHCP experience has come purely through network security or firewall products.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineer, deploy and maintain enterprise DDI platforms, including Infoblox, Cygna Labs QIP and/or VitalQIP. Design and administer enterprise DNS, DHCP and IPAM services. Lead DDI platform migrations, upgrades and consolidation projects. Design and maintain IP address management structures, subnet allocation and governance Manage DHCP scopes, failover configurations and enterprise lease management Essential
Experience:
Strong commercial experience engineering enterprise DDI platforms. Hands-on experience with one or more of:
Infoblox (NIOS/Blox One) Cygna Labs QIP VitalQIP Experience delivering DDI migrations and upgrades Strong understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnetting, routing and VLANs
