Senior Azure Dev Ops EngineerContract: 6 Months
Rate: Up to £600/day (Inside IR35)
Location: Bristol - 2 days p/w onsite
The Opportunity

We're supporting a major organisation undergoing a significant cloud and data transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Dev Ops Engineer to join the team on an initial 6-month contract.

You'll play a key role in designing, implementing and improving cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and automation practices across a large-scale Azure estate. This is an excellent opportunity to influence best practice, drive Infrastructure as Code adoption and support the delivery of critical cloud initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Support cloud governance, security and operational best practices
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture and delivery teams
• Drive Dev Ops culture and continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience within Azure cloud environments
• Excellent Azure Dev Ops expertise
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Bicep
• Experience with Terraform
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
• Azure networking, identity and security knowledge
• Experience working within enterprise-scale environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Fabric experience
• Experience supporting data platform or analytics programmes
• Knowledge of modern cloud governance frameworks
• Azure certifications
