A bit about the job

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Risk Tooling project.

Working across Business, Technology, Operations and external suppliers, you'll be responsible for driving delivery outcomes, ensuring progress against agreed plans and coordinating multiple stakeholders to achieve successful implementation.

You'll translate business requirements into delivery activity, manage interdependencies across work streams and provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires someone who can proactively identify and remove blockers, manage risks and issues, and maintain momentum towards key milestones.

Day-to-day, you'll lead project planning and delivery ceremonies, coordinate resources, track progress against schedules and ensure governance requirements are met. You'll provide clear and concise status updates for sponsors and senior stakeholders, escalating risks and issues where required and helping to drive successful adoption of the solution.

This is an excellent opportunity for a delivery-focused Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of successfully delivering business and technology change initiatives.

Skills and experience we're looking for
  • Proven experience delivering complex business and technology projects as a Project Manager.
  • Strong track record of owning delivery outcomes and driving projects to successful completion.
  • Experience translating business requirements into actionable delivery plans.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple teams, suppliers, stakeholders and work streams simultaneously.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, including scheduling, milestone management and dependency tracking.
  • Experience managing project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies (RAID).
  • Proven ability to identify, manage and elevate blockers in a timely manner.
  • Experience leading governance forums, steering committees and project reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and manage expectations at all levels.
  • Experience working across business, operational and technical teams.
  • Ability to manage change requests and assess delivery impacts.
  • Experience driving business adoption and supporting benefits realisation activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently whilst managing competing priorities.
Day-to-day responsibilities
  • Run project delivery ceremonies and planning sessions.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and delivery schedules.
  • Track progress against milestones and project objectives.
  • Coordinate resources across business, technical and operational work streams.
  • Manage dependencies between teams and suppliers.
  • Identify, track and resolve project risks and issues.
  • Escalate delivery concerns and blockers where appropriate.
  • Lead governance activities and project reporting.
  • Provide updates to sponsors and senior stakeholders.
  • Support change management, adoption and benefits realisation activities.
  • Ensure delivery remains aligned to project objectives, timelines and business outcomes.
Desirable experience
  • Experience delivering Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Vendor Risk Management or Risk & Compliance initiatives.
  • Experience implementing or enhancing risk management platforms or tooling.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, governance or operational risk environments.
  • Experience working within Financial Services or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Professional project management certifications such as PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent.
  • Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
