Senior Data / Platform Engineer – Remote
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Data / Platform Engineer to join their Data & Analytics team.
This is not a traditional Azure Data Engineering role
. They’re looking for someone with genuine, hands-on experience building and managing data platforms
, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure, automation, security and reliability.
You’ll be working across:
- Databricks & Azure Synapse
- Azure platform engineering –
ADLS, Key Vault, networking, RBAC & private endpoints - Infrastructure as Code – Pulumi, Terraform or Bicep
- CI/CD – Git Hub Actions and/or Azure Dev Ops
- Databricks workspace administration, Unity Catalog & governance
- Monitoring & observability – Azure Monitor, Log Analytics & KQL
- Python / PySpark and scalable data pipelines
- Security, access management, automation and platform operations
We’re particularly interested in engineers with experience across the broader data platform
, rather than those whose background is primarily focused on ADF or Synapse analytics.
If you enjoy building, automating and improving robust cloud data platforms
, this could be a great opportunity.
Due to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted.
