Senior/Claims Broker – Reinsurance & Cargo STP (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior/Claims Broker to manage complex Reinsurance and Cargo STP claims on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for an experienced claims professional ready to take ownership of their portfolio and deliver high-quality service across international accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage your own book of business from first advice to settlement
• Liaise with brokers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth claims processing
• Create and maintain claims files, process premiums, and produce advice/collection documentation
• Submit advices to the London Market where appropriate
• Coordinate with accounts teams to ensure prompt claims payment
• Monitor and mitigate risks within your portfolio
• Maintain strong relationships with underwriters, adjusters, surveyors, and legal advisors
• Keep up to date with market trends and cycles

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in Reinsurance claims; exposure to Cargo STP desirable
• Strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills
• Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
