Due to sustained portfolio growth, they are seeking an experienced and ambitious Commercial Account Handler to join their close-knit, dynamic team. Key Responsibilities Client Support & Retention:
Serve as the main technical point of contact for a diverse portfolio of B2B client accounts, delivering exceptional service and advice. Renewals & Mid-Term Adjustments (MTAs):
Manage the end-to-end renewal process, processing MTAs, policy amendments, and cancellations accurately and efficiently. Market Broking:
Prepare comprehensive broking presentations, negotiate policy terms and premiums with leading insurers and underwriters, and secure optimal cover for clients. Cross-Selling & Growth:
Identify gaps in client coverage to recommend additional products, driving account retention and portfolio growth. Claims Handling (Light):
Assist clients with initial claim notifications, liaising with insurers to ensure smooth, prompt resolution.
What We Are Looking For
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience within Commercial Insurance (handling B2B risks, commercial property, casualty, or motor trade).
Skills:
Strong market broking skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and sharp attention to detail when managing policy documentation. Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with major insurance software platforms (e.g., Acturis, Open GI, or SSP) is highly advantageous.
Education:
Minimum Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English. Drive: A collaborative team player with a passion for high service standards and ongoing professional development. What’s in It for You?
