The Role:

The Tax, Trusts & Succession (TTS) team is seeking a Senior Associate (5+ years PQE) or CILEX professional to join its growing team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work on high-profile, complex private client matters, including succession planning, tax-efficient strategies, and trust management for high-net-worth individuals and families.

The role involves working on a wide range of issues, such as advising on wealth preservation, structuring land ownership, family business succession, and managing multi-jurisdictional matters. The team is known for its expertise in handling sophisticated wealth management and tax planning matters, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on challenging and varied cases with a strong focus on long‑term client relationships.

Recent

Examples of Work:
  • Advising trustees on the transfer of land to the next generation, while mitigating inheritance tax and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Collaborating with a strategic land team to advise on structuring land ownership prior to entering into a promotion agreement.
  • Assisting family business owners with the inheritance tax implications of transferring a business to their heirs.
  • Providing pre‑arrival UK tax planning advice to non‑UK domiciled clients.
  • Restructuring a Jersey trust holding UK property to ensure the wealth passes on to beneficiaries in multiple jurisdictions.
