Residential Conveyancer / Solicitor - Bristol - 3+ Years' Experience
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, 35 hours per week)
Salary: £45,000 to £60,000
A well established and expanding law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer or Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join its busy Bristol office. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied caseload, contribute to team development, and play a key role in the continued growth of a high-performing property department.
The RoleYou’ll be responsible for managing a broad and complex caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Lease extensions
- Transfers of Equity
- New build transactions
- SDLT requirements, including relevant reliefs and exemptions
- Unregistered property matters
- Advising on restrictions, cautions, and their removal
- Supervising, coaching, and developing junior team members
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Estate Agents, Brokers, and clients
- Ensuring compliance and maintaining high professional standards
- At least 3 years' experience running a complex residential conveyancing caseload
- Strong technical knowledge across the full range of residential property matters
- A proven ability to win new business and nurture introducer relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Confidence working independently and under pressure
- A proactive, self motivated approach
- The ability to mentor and inspire junior colleagues
- Strong IT proficiency, including legal case management systems
