A leading national law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Managing Associate to join its highly regarded Financial Litigation, Disputes & Investigations team in Bristol. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within one of the UK's largest and most respected financial services disputes practices, acting for major banks, building societies, digital lenders and international financial institutions.
The RoleYou will join a market leading team handling a broad range of contentious financial services matters. The work is high value, complex and varied, offering exposure to major national and international clients.
- Running a varied caseload of financial services disputes
- Advising on complex banking litigation, professional negligence, investment disputes, fraud, regulatory matters and trade finance issues
- Providing strategic and commercial advice on contentious matters
- Supervising and supporting junior team members
- Contributing to business development and nurturing client relationships
- Assisting with legal updates, know how development and internal training
- Qualification as an SRA registered solicitor
- Experience running a caseload of financial litigation or property litigation matters
- Strong understanding of the CPR and litigation process
- Experience in secured lending litigation, mortgage repossession or title rectification (desirable but not essential)
- Experience supervising junior lawyers or paralegals (advantageous)
- Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and confidence in client relationship management
