Salary: £70,000 to £85,000 (depending on experience)
A leading law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its General Liability Insurance team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established client base, including top-tier liability insurers, within a dynamic and collaborative insurance practice.
OverviewThis role offers a varied and intellectually stimulating caseload focused on personal injury claims, with opportunities to engage in regulatory matters such as health and safety investigations, prosecutions, inquests, and product regulation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing fast track, intermediate, and multi-track personal injury claims
- Advising on legal aspects of claims, including coverage issues
- Delivering high-quality, timely client service aligned with SLAs
- Supporting team development through training, induction, and process improvement
- Capturing and reporting Management Information for clients
- Contributing to service and process enhancements
- Participating in client events and occasional travel to London
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years PQE in personal injury and fast track litigation
- Experience or interest in Product Law and Health & Safety
- Strong legal and commercial problem-solving skills
- Ability to mentor and support junior team members
- Commitment to business development and client engagement
- Commercial awareness and financial discipline
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proven ability to build trusted client relationships
- A collaborative and inclusive approach to firm culture
Working Arrangements
