They're now looking for an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor to join their growing team. You'll handle a varied, high-quality caseload covering acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and development work, acting for an established client base across the South West. Targets are realistic and achievable, and you'll be encouraged to get involved in networking and business development, supported by the firm's strong regional connections.
A great opportunity to join a forward-thinking firm that values both quality work and long-term career progression.RESPONSIBILITIESYou will manage a broad commercial property caseload while developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and the wider business community.
Your work will include:
Sales and acquisitions of commercial property and businesses, secured lending and refinancing (including portfolio transactions), and development matters such as site acquisitions, disposals, pension property transactions and joint ventures Landlord and tenant matters including the grant and assignment of leases, renewals, licences to assign or alter, and supporting property elements of corporate transactions Advising on commercial finance documentation, including debentures and guarantees In addition, you will supervise junior team members and support staff where appropriate, maintain financial control of your matters (time recording, billing and cash flow), ensure compliance with SRA and internal regulatory standards, and contribute to marketing and business development through networking and developing new sources of work.Requirements
Qualified Solicitor or FCILEx with solid commercial property experience (typically 5+ years' PQE) Strong technical expertise across commercial leases and acquisitions/disposals Commercially aware, organised, and confident managing client relationships Enthusiastic about business development and comfortable supervising others IT literate and adaptable to new systems and processes A personable, approachable team player who enjoys building relationships internally and externally, and will thrive in a friendly, collaborative culture
