Senior Paralegal Clinical Negligence & Inquests Bristol Hybrid Presented by TSR Legal TSR Legal is proud to be working with a leading UK law firm who now have a brand new opportunity for a Senior Paralegal to join its highly regarded Clinical Negligence and Inquests team. The team operate between offices, mainly Bath and Bristol and so the role can be based in either of these two locations.

This is an excellent opportunity to undertake meaningful, high-quality work within a complex and rewarding area of law. You will play a key role supporting sensitive and often emotionally challenging cases involving serious injury, death, and recently bereaved families making a genuine difference to clients when they need it most. The Opportunity As a Senior Paralegal, you will support a broad range of case management and client-facing activities across both clinical negligence claims and inquest proceedings.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with a Partner and a well-established team. Key Responsibilities Client Service & Case Management Undertake fee-earning work under supervision to progress clinical negligence claims and inquests Assist on complex cases while developing your own caseload Provide sensitive, high-quality support to clients, including bereaved families Communicate effectively with clients and third parties via phone, email, letter and face-to-face Draft witness statements, correspondence, letters of instruction and court documents Attend conferences and court hearings (occasional overnight stays required) Conduct effective legal research and present findings clearly Escalate issues appropriately to supervising lawyers Ensure compliance with risk management procedures Complete associated administrative duties Business Development & Growth Support fee earners with marketing and business development activities Attend BD events where appropriate Promote the firm positively via social media Maintain and update the CRM system Represent the firm professionally with clients, referrers and third parties Team & Culture Provide proactive support to designated fee earners Collaborate closely with team members and other departments Help coordinate meetings, training and team activities Contribute positively to team success and continuous improvement Demonstrate initiative and suggest process improvements Support an open, inclusive and collaborative culture Financial & Operational Excellence Accurately record time and work towards fee targets Take ownership of efficient case management Work proactively towards personal development goals Embrace firm technology and systems Ensure compliance with confidentiality, data protection and file management requirements About You Essential Relevant legal work experience demonstrating the required skills Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Solid Microsoft Office and IT skills Ability to undertake supervised legal work using initiative Genuine interest in clinical negligence/inquests work Commitment to delivering outstanding client service Desirable LLB or CILEx qualification Experience in clinical negligence, multi-track personal injury, inquests or similar areas Ability to travel for hearings and inquests Whats on Offer The successful candidate will join a progressive Top 100 firm known for high-quality work and a collaborative culture.
