A rare opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a specialist marine and shipping litigation team within a highly respected law firm. The firm has developed a strong reputation for its work within maritime and shipping law, advising clients across the UK and internationally.

This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise within a niche and highly regarded practice area. While prior marine law experience is advantageous, the firm is particularly interested in candidates with strong civil litigation experience who are keen to develop specialist knowledge within this sector.

• Managing marine and shipping related disputes
• Advising clients on maritime liability and contractual disputes
• Handling insurance and commercial litigation matters linked to marine law
• Working with industry professionals and technical experts
• Drafting pleadings and progressing cases through litigation
• Supporting the continued development of the marine department

• Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with litigation experience
• Have strong analytical and case management skills
• Demonstrate an interest in developing expertise within marine law
• Possess excellent communication and client care abilities
• Be capable of working both independently and within a team environment
