We are looking for an experienced qualified real estate lawyer to lead and supervise a dedicated paralegal team undertaking real estate asset management work. The team supports landlord clients on a range of leasing and asset management matters, including new leases, lease renewals and tenant applications (e.g. licences for alterations, licences to underlet and other consents).
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced real estate lawyer who is looking for a different and rewarding opportunity within private practice. The position offers the opportunity to lead, work alongside and develop a team of highly motivated and capable paralegals.
The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping how asset management work is delivered, providing technical oversight, client-facing advice and people leadership, while stepping away from traditional fee earner targets and mandatory hours. It is particularly well suited to a lawyer who enjoys mentoring and supervision, while remaining closely involved in legal work and client relationships.
What You’ll Do- Manage and supervise a paralegal team delivering asset management support for landlord clients.
- Lead on client relationships for day-to-day asset management instructions and ensure a consistently high-quality service.
- Provide technical oversight, management and escalation support on matters requiring qualified input.
- Take responsibility for appraisals, objective-setting and development planning for the team.
- Qualified commercial real estate lawyer with 5+ years post‑qualification experience.
- Extensive leasehold and asset management experience, with extensive experience in advising landlords and handling client relationships.
- Proven supervision experience (or strong evidence you’re ready to step into this).
- A genuine interest in training, coaching and developing others.

- Up to 25 days holiday (rising to 28 days with service)
- Holiday exchange scheme
- Private medical insurance
- Enhanced parental leave
