Position: EL/PL Solicitor (Casualty) NQ-2 years PQE
Description Keoghs is looking for a talented NQ-2 Years PQE Solicitor to join its Casualty team in Bristol. This is a rare opportunity to develop your career on a broad and highly technical caseload that goes well beyond traditional EL/PL litigation. You'll work very closely with a recognised leader in the field, assisting on complex and high-value claims for a diverse public sector client base, including police forces and local authorities.

The work is varied, intellectually stimulating and often high profile, with claim values ranging from substantial six-figure sums to matters worth millions of pounds. You'll also gain valuable exposure to tribunal claims, providing a breadth of experience that is difficult to find elsewhere this early in your legal career.

Key Responsibilities Assist on a varied caseload of complex and high-value Employer's and Public Liability claims Review and analyse liability, causation and quantum evidence Draft pleadings, witness statements and other legal documentation Liaise with clients, counsel, experts and witnesses Support trial preparation and attendance at conferences Assist with a range of tribunal matters, gaining exposure to additional areas of contentious work alongside your EL/PL caseload Conduct legal research and contribute to strategic advice on complex and often novel legal issues Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Qualified Solicitor with 0-2 years' PQE Experience in personal injury, casualty litigation, insurance litigation or general dispute resolution Strong technical and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities A genuine interest in complex litigation Why join Keoghs?
