Are you someone looking to start their career in the food and beverage industry as a trainee buyer with a market-leading ship supply company, where you will be given in-house/on-the-job training? This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join an Avonmouth company who supply food and beverage to ships around the UK.
About the Role- Processing of customer’s quotes and orders
- Daily ordering with suppliers
- Close liaison with warehouse and logistics dept. to ensure orders are completed and delivered in a timely manner.
- Issuing of delivery notes and invoices for deliveries
- Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers
- Maintaining and building supplier and client relationships
- Ability to cope with pressure and adapt to situations
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good organisation skills
- Outlook, Excel and Word literate

Hours:
Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Starting Salary: £20,800 to £26,520 p.a.
