Procurement & Supplier Management Lead

• Leading procurement activity relating to outsourcing and offshoring arrangements across the UK business.
• Reviewing and analysing outsourcing opportunities and making recommendations to support business objectives.
• Managing relationships with key outsourced suppliers, helping to ensure they meet performance, compliance and service expectations.
• Embedding consistent supplier management practices across the organisation.
• Supporting and coaching business owners on supplier governance, performance monitoring and contract management.
• Working with stakeholders to identify, monitor and manage supplier‑related risks.
• Coordinating actions to address any control weaknesses or areas of concern.
• Representing Procurement on business change, integration and group‑wide projects.
• Supporting the continued development of procurement processes, systems and ways of working.
• Contributing to sustainability and ESG initiatives within our supply chain.
• Looking for opportunities to improve supplier performance, efficiency and value across the business.

• Experience in Procurement, Supplier Management or Supply Chain Management.
• A background in managing strategic suppliers, outsourced services or complex third‑party relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing significant supplier spend.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence to work with colleagues at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to support decision‑making.
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive, self‑motivated approach and the ability to work independently.
• Experience with in automotive, fleet, leasing or a similar operational environment would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.

• Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
