- The Role:
As a Contracts Supervisor you’ll support the Contracts Manager in supervising day‑to‑day operations, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant delivery of logistics and contract activities. The Supervisor provides hands‑on leadership, workflow coordination, and acts as a key escalation point for operational and customer issues. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervise daily logistics and contract operations, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Allocate workloads, monitor activity levels, and manage operational priorities.
- Act as a secondary point of contact for customers, resolving issues and escalating where required.
- Monitor KPIs, service levels, trends, and potential risks, supporting corrective action.
- Support revenue and cost monitoring, identifying efficiency opportunities.
- Supervise operational administration relating to stock control, distribution, and documentation.
- To liaise with the warehouse and Logistics Operators to ensure the necessary PI checks are completed regularly. Investigate any discrepancies and liaise with the warehouse to ensure the highest levels of stock integrity are maintained.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, customs requirements (where applicable), and quality standards.
- Maintain the effective operation of the Warehouse Management System, maintain data integrity and work closely with the IT department to ensure the system responds to future needs effectively.
- Coach, support, and provide day‑to‑day guidance to the Co‑Ordinator(s).
- Ensure effective holiday cover and handovers within the team.
- Maintain accurate records, systems, and reporting outputs.
We’re seeking a detail‑oriented, adaptable individual who can thrive in a fast‑paced environment. If you have:
- Essential: Experience supervising or leading teams within logistics, transport, or operational environments.
- Skills in: Prioritisation, organisation, problem‑solving, and handling multiple tasks at once
- Working knowledge: KPIs, service levels, and workflow management.
- Bonus: Previous logistics experience (but full training will be provided)
- Communication: Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken and a confident communicator with the ability to influence and resolve issues
In addition, you will also need the right to work in the UK - we are not able to sponsor work permits.
