Regional Parts Controller

Overview

Join Trane Technologies as a Parts Controller responsible for managing inventory for parts, consumables, and warranty items across our service operations. The role includes stock level control, monthly counts, van replenishment, parts booking, purchasing, goods receiving, warranty claims, and store housekeeping.

• Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to ensure availability of parts.
• Conduct monthly stock counts to verify inventory accuracy; reconcile discrepancies.
• Replenish service vans with necessary parts and consumables.
• Book parts to jobs in the service management system and track usage.
• Procure consumables and PPE required for service operations.
• Oversee goods receiving: inspect quality and quantity, ensure accurate documentation.
• Manage warranty parts, including returns, replacements, and claim documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts store; implement best practices.
• Provide support to the Service Controller during peak times (call handling, engineer planning, customer liaison).

• Proven experience in parts control or inventory management.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and tools.
• Strong communication and customer-service abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of warranty parts management and goods-receiving processes.
• Familiarity with service operations is a plus.
