Overview

Duties
  • Perform major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles or light commercial vehicles, as part of your role as a Commercial Vehicle Technician
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Diagnose faults and collaborate with the repair team to deliver efficient solutions
  • Maintain workshop stock and ensure a clean, safe working environment
  • Document all repair activities using industry-standard systems such as Keyloop or Kerridge
  • Manage warranty claims, escalating issues when necessary
  • Carry out wheel alignments and tyre replacements
  • Complete customer documentation accurately and within designated time frames
  • Contribute to a safe and productive workshop environment
Requirements
  • Fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 3 certification or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle or Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Ideally, 1-2 years' practical experience in a similar Commercial Vehicle Technician role
  • A proactive team player with a professional attitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop setting and produce high-quality work
  • Motivated to achieve targets and contribute positively to the team
  • Hold an HGV driving licence is desirable but not essential
