Assistant Damper Engineer (Test & Inspection)

Location: Bristol

Salary: Up to £30,000 + overtime + bonuses (£40,000+ realistic)

Hours: 10‑hour days (including travel)

You will carry out planned annual fire damper inspections across the South West, ensuring vital life safety systems are in top working order. You will use our digital system “Boris” to record your findings, capturing evidence and reports on site.

A typical day will see you inspecting up to 40 dampers, with bonuses of £5 per damper above your daily target – a realistic way to boost your earnings well beyond £40k annually.

• Experience in fire damper inspection, ventilation or HVAC work preferred
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS
