Maintenance Assistant

Maintenance Assistant – full‑time, on‑site position at Double Tree by Hilton Bristol City Centre. Permanent role, paid £14.50 per hour, 37.5 hours per week on a Tuesday‑to‑Saturday schedule.

• Day‑to‑day maintenance duties, repairs, servicing, painting and preventative maintenance of all hotel equipment, furniture and fixtures.
• Maintain external areas, including loading bay and car parking.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team and support other departments to deliver service standards to guests.
• Complete accurate records required for legal compliance.
• Follow the PMS reactive maintenance schedule, prioritise and action remedial works to keep facilities operational.
• Ensure the security of guests and hotel property.
• Refer supply requests to the maintenance engineer or senior management for authorisation.
• Deputise for the Maintenance Engineer/Manager during absences.
• Adhere to the Company Health & Safety Policy, Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Fire and COSHH legislation, and maintain inspection records and online compliance systems.

• Previous experience in building maintenance, including plumbing, basic electrical and fabric.
