Domestic Team Leader - Mobile

Overview

This Domestic Team Leader (Mobile) will supervise and coordinate domestic services across NHS Property Services sites, ensuring high-quality, safe, and compliant cleaning. The role will support effective service delivery, manage resources, and act as the key point of contact for service users.

• Supervise and coordinate domestic staff, including recruiting, training, and performance management.
• Plan, allocate, and manage rotas, ensuring coverage for all shifts as required.
• Conduct audits and inspections to maintain health and safety and cleaning standards.
• Oversee stock management and equipment maintenance.
• Act as the primary contact for service users and support effective service delivery.
• Cover cleaning shifts when required and assist with routine tasks and social interactions within the workplace.
• Absorb and apply relevant policy, guidance, and statutory requirements.

• BSB or equivalent education or experience in a supervisory role within a cleaning or maintenance environment.
• Proven experience managing staff and rosters.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Valid driving licence and a DBS check.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including early mornings (4:00 am) to evenings (9:00 pm), Monday to Friday.

• Salary: £34,522 per year (or £28,393 per annum pro‑rated to 37.5 hours per week).
