Housekeeper; Bank

Housekeeper – Bristol Hospital – Cleaning – Bank Ad‑hoc – £12.84 per hour

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

We are looking for a Housekeeper who will help create a clean, safe and pleasant environment for patients by cleaning and preparing a range of areas, utilising the latest equipment and products, and supported by a first‑class training programme. You will take pride in your work and undertake general responsibilities such as room cleaning, waste removal, linen collection and deep cleaning.

• Organise your work and plan your time with assistance from the Heads of Housekeeping to ensure cleaning never interferes with patients' experience.
• Be friendly, communicate well and provide excellent customer service when interacting with patients and colleagues.
• Remain motivated, friendly and flexible in a dynamic environment.
• Apply cleaning processes consistently, ensuring the location is clean, pleasant and safe for patients.
• Work closely with the Infection Prevention team and report incidents to the relevant members.
