The role offers a genuinely client-side position, providing ownership of planning strategy across a varied commercial portfolio. It would suit an experienced planning professional looking to move into, or further develop within, a commercially focused development environment.
The RoleAs Planning Manager, you will lead planning strategy across multiple commercial schemes, acting as the primary interface between internal stakeholders, local authorities and external consultants.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and managing planning strategy for commercial and mixed-use sites
Instructing and coordinating external planning consultants and technical teams
Overseeing the preparation, submission and negotiation of planning applications
Advising development and investment teams on planning risk, programme and value
Supporting site acquisition through planning appraisals and due diligence
