COULD YOU BE THE FUTURE CHAIR OF HERTS VISUAL ARTS?

Our vibrant organisation seeks a new Chair to lead our continuing growth and development. A chance to lead a team of volunteers who are excited about developing and supporting the visual arts across Hertfordshire.

Herts Visual Arts is a membership based organisation of over 400 artists and makers. We run Herts Open Studios each September, several large arts fairs across Hertfordshire and provide support and community to our members.

We have undertaken an exciting period of growth, expanding our membership and offerings. We need to review our organisational structure and activities to meet the demands of our growing membership.

• Commitment to HVA’s mission and values
• Strong leadership, strategic development, communication, and facilitation skills
• Experience in governance, management, or voluntary sector leadership
• Knowledge of the visual arts sector
• Experience in fundraising, partnership development, or community engagement
• Previous trustee or committee experience.
