Commercial Director – Property Finance (BTL & Bridging)

Are you a senior commercial leader with deep experience in specialist property lending?

An established, fast-growing financial services firm is seeking a Commercial Director to drive its Buy-to-Let and Bridging Finance strategy across multiple product lines.

This is a pivotal leadership role — setting the commercial vision, leading the sales function, and shaping the growth of an ambitious lending division.

• You will have the freedom and budget to build a business from the ground up
• The bank are well funded and have a strong reputation which you can leverage

• Define and deliver the commercial and sales strategy across mortgage, BTL, and bridging portfolios (regulated and unregulated).
• Lead a multi-channel sales team — both internal and field-based — across brokers, distributors, packagers, and introducers.
• Identify and capitalise on new product and market opportunities, driving innovation and profitability.
• Partner closely with Credit, Risk, Compliance and Marketing to ensure robust governance and commercial success.
• Act as a senior spokesperson for the division — representing the business at industry events and forums.
• Support and deputise for the Managing Director in shaping divisional strategy and performance.

• 10+ years’ experience in specialist lending with a strong commercial or sales leadership background.
• Proven success managing multi-channel distribution networks (packagers, brokers, clubs, etc).
• In-depth understanding of the regulatory environment (FCA, PRA, AML, Consumer Duty).
• Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to deliver results.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a track record of building high-performing teams.
