Role Overview

Associate Director – Madrid, Airport Design Project Leader – EIMEA team. Responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams on large‑scale airport expansion projects across Spain, Portugal and selected European/Middle Eastern markets. Must drive business growth, secure leadership, win high‑value bids and ensure excellent project delivery.

• Lead multidisciplinary teams on large‑scale airport expansion projects.
• Win high‑value bids and secure leadership in the airport design sector.
• Ensure excellent project delivery and strong client relationships.
• Develop Spain as a centre of excellence in airport design and foster technical development.

• Significant airport design experience and proven team leadership.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Commercial experience and bidding success.
• International experience preferred.
• Relevant qualifications in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical), Transport Planning, Architecture, Urban/Airport Planning or closely related fields.
• Experience in aviation planning, terminal design, operations, logistics, baggage or material handling systems.
• Collaborative experience in diverse, cross‑functional teams in client‑facing roles.
• Knowledge of security risk management, aviation security or related areas is an advantage.
