Responsibilities and duties of the Project Operations Lead
Reporting to the Head of Business Line you will:
- Support the Head of Business Line in delivering strategic objectives and business performance.
- Lead operational activities to drive growth, efficiency, profitability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee successful project delivery, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Support business development through tender preparation, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to optimise resource planning, capability development, and workload management.
- Monitor business performance, reporting, forecasting, and governance to achieve commercial targets.
- Act as deputy to the Head of Business Line, providing leadership and representing the business when required.
We are looking for someone with the following:
- An engineering degree with a background in Engineering, Commercial or project management
- Project Management qualification
The Project Operations Lead would suit someone who is:
- Experienced in project management/delivery
- Previously led supported bids, tenders, and business development
- Well versed with nuclear projects.
A base salary between 65,000 - 85,000 depending on experience
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- 9% pension (minimum of 1% contributions from you)
