A Little More About Your Role

Our Project, Programme & Commercial Management (PMCM) business is at the forefront of delivering some of the UK's most critical water and environmental infrastructure programmes. As investment across the water sector continues to grow, we are expanding our NEC ECC Project Management team to support major capital delivery programmes for water companies and infrastructure clients throughout the UK.

You will play a key role in delivering projects that improve water quality, enhance resilience, reduce environmental impact, and support sustainable communities. Working alongside multidisciplinary technical experts, you will help clients navigate increasingly complex challenges, from treatment works upgrades and network improvements to flood resilience, environmental enhancement, and major water infrastructure programmes.

  • Support the development and delivery of major investment programmes across the regulated water sector.
  • Champion best practice in project management, safety, quality, sustainability, and continual improvement.
  • Mentor and support junior team members while contributing to a high-performing and collaborative team culture.

What We Are Looking For You To Demonstrate

We are particularly interested in project professionals who have experience delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects, either directly for water companies or across major utility and environmental programmes.

You will ideally demonstrate:

  • Proven experience managing projects through the full lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery of scope, programme, budget, risk and quality objectives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with water company clients, delivery partners and technical teams.
  • Commercial awareness, including NEC4 ECC contract management experience or accreditation.
  • Experience managing project risks, opportunities, change control and commercial performance within complex infrastructure environments.
  • The ability to lead, coordinate and motivate multidisciplinary teams while promoting a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Membership of, or progression towards, a relevant professional institution such as APM, ICE, CIWEM, CIOB, RICS or equivalent.
  • A commitment to health, safety, environmental stewardship, sustainability and continuous professional development.
  • Delivery of Bioresources and Sludge Treatment programmes
