Housing & Support Manager

Location:

Bristol
Salary: £37,000-£40,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours:

35 hours per week

Contract:

Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

Our client is a growing supported housing provider seeking an experienced and motivated Housing & Support Manager to lead its Bristol portfolio.

This hands-on role combines housing management, resident support, staff leadership, safeguarding, and operational oversight. You will manage a team of Support Workers, ensure high-quality service delivery, and help strengthen systems and processes as the organisation continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day management of the Bristol portfolio.
Manage, support, and develop a team of Support Workers.
Monitor performance, conduct supervision meetings, and support staff development.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee resident welfare, risk management, and service quality.
Maintain property standards, inspections, and maintenance coordination.
Build effective relationships with local authorities, health services, probation, and partner agencies.
Ensure accurate record keeping, reporting, and compliance documentation.
Identify and implement service improvements and operational efficiencies.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.

About You

Experience managing or supervising staff within supported housing, housing, social care, or a related setting.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing competing priorities.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic reporting systems.
Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and professional boundaries.
Confident decision-maker with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Passionate about delivering high-quality support services and contributing to organisational growth
