An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bristol NHS Foundation Trust as a Temporary Staffing Operations Senior Manager. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for the operational management and performance of the Temporary Staffing service across the Trust, ensuring the effective booking, deployment and management of all Temporary workers. The post holder will work closely with Divisional teams, Heads of Service and senior leaders to deliver a responsive, high-quality service that supports safe staffing, workforce sustainability and organisational priorities.
Mainduties of the job
You will provide operational leadership for the Temporary Staffing service, overseeing the management of Temporary Workers across multiple hospital sites. The role includes responsibility for service performance, workforce planning, agency management, governance, financial oversight and service improvement. You will lead a large team, build strong relationships with stakeholders across the Trust and represent the service at local, regional and national forums.
The post holder will also play a key role in delivering workforce initiatives, reducing agency spend, improving performance and ensuring compliance with NHS England requirements and Trust policies.
