This is a hands-on leadership role, supporting the CFO and wider leadership team through a critical period of growth, reporting enhancement and financial transformation. We're seeking a commercially minded finance leader who can quickly get up to speed, provide technical expertise and bring strong financial control across a multi-entity environment.###
Key Responsibilities
* Own group reporting, consolidations and board reporting packs
* Manage statutory accounts and external audit delivery
* Drive improvements in controls, reporting processes and governance
* Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
* Lead and develop the finance team
* Partner with senior stakeholders across the business
* Support M&A, integration and acquisition-related projects where required
* Ensure compliance and relevant statutory requirements
* Manage a team of 4, reporting to Group CFOAbout You
* Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
* Previous Group Financial Controller, Head of Finance or Finance Director experience
* Strong group reporting and consolidation expertise
* Experience operating within multi-entity environments
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business
* Able to balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery
* Available immediately or at short notice (within 1 week)
Desirable Experience
* Private equity-backed businesses
* Manufacturing, engineering, industrial or project-led environments
* Finance transformation and systems improvement projects
* M&A, acquisitions and integration activity
