Production Technician

Bristol Instruments, Inc. is seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our manufacturing team.

Reports To:
Production Supervisor

• Perform precise assembly of electrical, mechanical and optical components.
• Install electrical parts and hardware in assemblies using soldering equipment and hand tools.
• Ensuring adherence to technical specifications and verbal instructions.
• Must be capable of reading and understanding mechanical and electrical drawings, specifications, work orders and test procedures.
• Inspect parts for physical defects.
• Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

• Experience
  :
  Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in the assembly and soldering of electro‑optical systems or similar high‑precision technologies.
• Technical Skills
  :
  Proficiency in using hand tools, crimpers, soldering equipment and measurement instruments. Experience with optical components is also highly desirable.
• Education
  :
  High School Diploma or GED required.
• Attention to Detail
  :
  Strong focus on precision and quality in all aspects of work. Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical documentation.
• Team Player
  :
  Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment while managing individual responsibilities. A “will learn/can‑do/will cooperate” attitude is essential.
