Manufacturing Operator - Fluidcare

Overview

Quaker Houghton is a global leader in industrial process fluids with 100+ years of history, present in 40+ countries and 4,500 employees. This role delivers a customer-focused service, working with the site manager to operate an efficient team that manages the day-to-day scope of work. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. Shift pattern is 42 hours weekly (Dayshift Cleaner).

We are looking for a fast learner eager to develop a career in the manufacturing sector with well-established multinational companies.

• Manage the cleanliness on the shop floor in the most efficient manner on a day-to-day basis.
• Assist with the management of swarf bin movements when required.
• Identify site requirements, provide solutions and, where possible, suggest ways of continuously improving the services provided to the customer by Quaker Houghton, while promoting high health & safety standards and reporting any unsafe conditions or hazards to the site manager / team leader.
• Provide other specifically agreed cleaning services as and when required by the Site Manager.

FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.

• Good communication skills
• Preferably has knowledge of working in an engineering environment
• Forklift advantageous
