Mechanical Inspector

Overview

Mechanical Inspector - Inspection opportunity with this high tech manufacturer. The role involves the general inspection and quality reporting of machined parts and assemblies using various gauges and CMM

• Conduct thorough quality inspections using a variety of complex tools including CMM and Faro Arm technologies.
• Perform precise machine shop inspections, ensuring all products meet stringent safety and quality standards.
• Carry out visual inspections to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive records.

• Previous experience in a machine shop environment is essential.
• Proficiency in using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and/or Faro Arm.
• Strong expertise in quality and visual inspection techniques.
• Engineering qualifications are highly desirable.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
