We're seeking a Senior Infrastructure/Dev Ops Engineer who excels in automation, infrastructure as code, and improving software delivery processes. This role focuses on Git Lab CI/CD, Windows image creation for physical or virtualised environments, and Terraform‑based infrastructure management. The Senior Infrastructure/Dev Ops Engineer will be based at our Bristol site and allows for flexible working, with office visits on an as‑required basis.
The salary for this role is up to £65k, depending on experience.
- Manage the self‑hosted Git Lab environment, including designing, maintaining, and optimising Git Lab CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment workflows, as well as performing software upgrades of the platform.
- Maintain code and Docker repositories.
- Identify opportunities to use Terraform for automation and ensure consistency and repeatability, implementing it where appropriate.
- Build secure‑by‑design Windows images for products across our Maritime and Underwater Battlespace departments, utilising appropriate technologies to ensure security, consistency, and reliability.
- Apply Dev Sec Ops principles, working with the Infrastructure Lead and Information Assurance & Security Lead to meet customer security requirements.
