Job Title:
Operations Director – North England
Salary: up to £90k basic plus executive package
A state‑of‑the‑art print and packaging firm is searching for an outstanding Operations Director to join their executive management team.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and lead all manufacturing operations, striving towards operational excellence.
- Implement and follow through on lean manufacturing processes to reduce waste and shorten ready times.
- Act as a hands‑on mentor to supervisors and managers, passing on knowledge and ensuring they become proficient in lean manufacturing practices.
- Support the company’s expansion into large‑format/POS printing and other new territory.
- Demonstrable background in lean manufacturing or other major continuous‑improvement quality systems.
- Experience in mentoring or training personnel on lean practices.
- Knowledge of large‑format/POS printing a plus.
